While the story of these children struggling to survive has been previously published, widely shared on social media, and confirmed to us by family members, it has come to our attention that these accounts are incorrect and the children are being taken care of by private donors.
It has also come to light that there are several unscrupulous elements looking to take advantage of the vulnerability of these affected minors, by claiming monetary compensation on their behalf.
