Floods, Landslides And COVID-19: Sri Lanka’s Trifecta Of Disasters

Heavy monsoon rains caused floods and landslides in Sri Lanka earlier this month, where many live under lockdown against a COVID-19 wave. As a result, the Disaster Management Centre of Sri Lanka had to rethink its response plan for those affected by the floods and come up with a new plan to prevent making things from turning worse.
