Paving Roads With Plastic

For the first time, Sri Lanka has used a mixture of non-recyclable plastic and asphalt to pave a road in the south of Colombo. The plastic-asphalt mixture is more durable, cuts road construction costs and offers a solution to plastic waste problems. Several other countries, including the UK, Canada, the Philippines and India have already trialled this method.
